Neighbours of an Enlarged Europe
The Commission has published a communication Wider Europe Neighbourhood : A new Framework for relations with our Eastern and Southern Neighbours ť that establishes the relations between Russia, the new independent states and the countries of Southern Europe for the coming decade when they become Europe's new neighbours after enlargement.

The Commission has published a summary entitled "Enlargement : what can companies in the new member states expect?" This is an overview of information on the mechanisms for aid, measures to improve company environments and standards for industrial products.
